The £3 million transformation project of Hull’s former Comet call centre is nearly complete, and the opportunity for more city living is fast approaching with this exciting new development.

The seven-storey George Street Development is being delivered by a JV with Empire Property Concepts and Fortem Property is supporting all the sales and marketing responsibilities.

There will be 47 apartments in total, and Fortem Property has revealed that there are now only a small number of two-bedroom apartments left for sale.

George House is in Hull city centre, close to the headquarters of many major employers, banks, shops, and the City Hall, so there’s a huge appeal for residents that want to embrace a practical city lifestyle.

Accordingly, George House is being fitted out to high specification by Empire, designed deliberately to appeal to more affluent and discerning tenants. Given the growth of high-value industries in the city – including advanced engineering, renewable energy, financial services, and Digi-tech – this is very much a growing market.

Darren Bennett, Co-Founder at Fortem Property commented: “This is our fourth development in Hull, and over that time we have witnessed the city continuing to grow with a shortage of rental accommodation. The George House apartments are in a prime area in the Hull city centre, just 200m away from the beloved City Hall.

“Hull is sending out all the right signals and is seeing massive investments in key, future-focused industries. The fact that nearly every single apartment in George House has already been purchased just proves the impact a development like this has on a city. We are extremely proud to be supporting this project and look forward to seeing the final outcome of the apartments upon completion”.

Over the past few months, George House has undergone a complete transformation with new kitchens being installed throughout the building, and 85% of the old windows being replaced for residential living. Completion is set for the third quarter of 2022.

All the floors have been released for sale with almost all of them now being reserved, with just a handful of two-bedroom apartments left for sale.  To find out more get in touch with Fortem Property by visiting www.fortemproperty.co.uk
